Project Selected for Grant

Green Alternatives is pleased to announce that a solar array
project in Howard County has been awarded an
Alternative Power and Energy (APE)
grant by the Indiana Department of Energy Development. A 3.5 kW solar
array at the farm of Curt & Susan Silvey will normalize the electrical load of
the farm's grain dryer.
The system will be a ground-mounted array of 14 panels,
and will be brought on line in the spring of 2010.
This is the second consecutive year that a Green
Alternatives project has been awarded a grant by the APE project.
