Don't have space for a normal panel size.

Mage has the answer.

Mage has introduced a new line of panels that are roughly 1/3 smaller than the conventional 1.5 sq meter panel.

These new smaller panels are great for small roofs and are available in 190 and 200 watt versions.

These new mini panels are 100% Enphase and Grid tie compatible.

System below is on a very small garage roof.

If conventional panels were used there would be no space at all to get around array and only 4 panels would fit.

With the mini panels 5 can fit and have space to walk and when compared to full size 235 watt panels they actually take less space and make 10 more watts.

The best feature of all on these new panels is they cost no more per watt than a conventional full size panel.

This system was installed at the same time as a new roof, and this worked very well as we found  that the garage roof was not structured fully as needed. Working with the roofing crew, braces were added and the array went up perfect.

This small array slowly pushes the meter backwards all sunny day even with the refrigerator running.

Maximum AC output is 995 watts.

Typical is 850 to 950 watts.
